Poverty in America Today

THE LINE was presented by LARS and The Friends of the Laurel Library and was attended by 60+ who also heard heartfelt stories from activists and social workers about struggles with poverty in our Community.

Thanks for Helping 

at the Giant Book Sale  during which  hundreds of people selected purchases from thousands of books, Audio books and first run Movie DVDs on September 29, 30 and October 1.


Also, hundreds of books were donated to LARS and other Friends of Library groups.


There are still books for sale on selves in the Cafe at the Laurel Library
